About the Festival

A Celebration
18 Years in the Making

One day. Every culture of Africa. All of Sydney welcome.

Entering its 18th year, Africultures Festival is Australia's largest African festival showcasing the many vibrant cultures of the African continent. This one-day festival draws thousands of people from across Australia to immerse in the culture, food, music and arts of Africa.

From bustling market stalls selling arts and fashion to a vibrant lineup of dancers and musicians to delicious food from around Africa, this festival is a jam-packed day full of fun for the whole family.

Africultures Festival is made possible by the generous contributions from our sponsors, community partners and volunteers. Donate to Africultures by buying a ticket. All monies raised by the Festival are used to host the festival and provide community projects throughout the year.
