Watoto Corner
A dedicated space for children. Activities, storytelling and cultural play that lets little ones discover Africa at their own pace.

African Market Place
40+ vendors with handmade jewellery, fabrics, art and crafts from African and African-Australian makers. Shop, explore and support.

Kilimanjaro & Serengeti Stages
Two stages, non-stop performances. From headline acts to emerging artists, live music and dance run all day.

Fashion Parade
A runway celebration of African designers and fashion. Colour, print, identity and style on full display. One of the most spectacular moments of the day.

Drumming & Dance Workshops
Jump in. Learn traditional rhythms and dances in community-led workshops open to everyone. No experience needed, just the willingness to move.

Held at Cathy Freeman Park in Sydney Olympic Park, it brings together performers, artists, food vendors, community organisations and thousands of festival-goers for one unforgettable day.
