The first ever Africultures Story Hour will be on at 11:30am on in the Youth Zone on 12 March 2016. Featuring talented writers and poets whose roots span from South Africa to South Sudan, from Somalia to Sierra Leone and beyond. They will read their works about love and heartbreak; about small moments and big life changing events – all while drawing on the rich storytelling and writing traditions they grew up with. There will be an open mic session after their readings which is open to everyone who wants to share their writing, so bring along your words and be part of the event.
