AFRICULTURES VOLUNTEERS

Volunteer for the largest African arts and cultural festival in Australia. This one day family friendly event that celebrates the rich cultures of Africa. Volunteers are needed for a range of roles. 

This is a rare opportunity for anyone interested to learn more about the various cultures of Africa and interact with communities from Africa. 

All volunteers MUST attend 1 online training prior to the festival. Nominate your preferred date in the application form. 

Volunteers receive FREE entry, volunteer T-shirt, food, and drink vouchers.

Volunteer Training & Induction

All festival volunteers MUST attend 1 online training prior to the festival. Choose 1 session from the below options:*

Important Informations

1. All information and processes associated with the volunteer position must be considered confidential.
2. There are no guarantees that volunteers will be placed in their first option. We allocate volunteers to specific teams based on the information provided in the application.
3. Volunteers MUST attend 1 online induction prior to the festival and arrive on time on the day of the festival to receive an onsite orientation.
4. Volunteers are expected to complete all shift requirements. If unable to attend a shift due to illness, injury, or family emergency, contact the Volunteer Coordinator immediately.
5. Volunteers will be expected to complete a minimum of 5hrs to receive a FREE volunteer T-shirt, food, and drink vouchers.
