Not-for-Profit stalls are for community and/or volunteer-run organisations only. This category will be only information based. Sales of small items such as basic promotional material may be allowed with prior approval. If you intend to use the stall primarily for sales, you will need to apply for a commercial stall.

Income generated through stall fees and donations is essential to covering the costs of hosting the festival each year, helping to ensure its long-term sustainability and continued positive impact.

2. STALL REQUIREMENTS

STALL HOLDER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
  1. All fees must be paid toAfricultures Festival, PO Box 1007, Auburn NSW 1835 within 7 days of receiving your invoice to reserve your position at the event
  2. TheAfricultures Festival Committee decision on stall selection and location is final.
  3. All stalls will be installed as per the Sydney Olympic Park Authority guidelines. This includes the requirement for temporary stalls to be weighted down to prevent them from wind. A structural engineer must certify that the stall installations meet these guidelines.
  4. Individual private stalls will not be allowed on to Sydney Olympic Park.
  5. Stallholders will not be permitted to use their own generators.
  6. All goods proposed for sale by the Stallholder must be identified and communicated to in writing to theAfricultures Festival Committee. The Committee reserves the right to ask the Stallholder to withdraw any item/s from sale.
  7. Africultures Festival does NOT allow religious or political stalls
  8. 2025 Africultures Festival will take place rain, hail or shine.  The event will not be cancelled due to inclement weather and no refunds will be given.
  9. All stallholders must hold currentPublic Liability Insurance (minimum of $10 million covering the stall site activities and products). A copy of this cover must be submitted with a completed application form.  It is the responsibility of all stallholders to arrange Public Liability Insurance to cover any claim related to the activities of stallholders.
  10. TheAfricultures Festival Committee will not provide water or power to any stall site. If you require power, contact the committee. Cost of power is $700 per stall
  11. Stallholders are to confine their operations to within the boundary of the allocated stall area and may not move the stall from the allocated site. Signage may be used to identify the stallholder’s products.
  12. All goods for sale must be of good quality and not identified as being hazardous or toxic or have potential to cause injury to any persons.
  13. The following items are not to be sold at theFestival, either individually or as part of a multi-product showbag, or used as giveaways or prizes:
  14. Toy weapons of any description (guns, knives, bow & arrows, batons, projectiles, etc)
  15. Loud hooters or horns
  16. Silly string or other items of nuisance
  17. The Stallholder understands and agrees that theAfricultures Festival Committee has the right to remove, without refund, any stallholder who misrepresents themselves or their product.
  18. The Stallholder will be solely responsible for, and bear all risk associated with, the collection of money atthe 2025 Africultures Festival and the transfer of money to and from the festival site.
  19. The Stallholder is responsible for ensuring that all merchandise, packaging and equipment is kept within the Stallholder’s allocated area and that this area is kept clean and tidy at all times throughout theFestival.
  20. TheAfricultures Festival Committee encourages environmentally sustainable practices.The Hirer must ensure that all waste is removed at the completion of the event and disposed of correctly. Fees will be charged if this is not adhered to.
  21. All directions given by Event Staff must be complied with.  Failure to follow directions could lead to immediate exclusion from the2025 Africultures Festival.
  22. Stallholders may not bring their vehicles into the festival site area at any time during the event other than times designated for loading in and out.Set up is from7.00am –9.00am only and pack up from10.00pm. Parking is not provided onsite.
  23. Stallholders must abide by the set-up and pack down rules as stipulated byAfricultures Festival Committee.
  24. There will be photography and filming taking place at the festival. When you enter the festival site you consent to being filmed or photographed byAfricultures’ authorised photographers for promotional purposes.
